I have a lace-leaf Japanese maple in my garden that has the coolest looking leaves so of course I had to **electroform them and create a pair of OOAK earrings. These leaves are incredibly difficult to electroform. They don’t want to hold their shape and they tend to curl inward. It took me more than a week to get these completed.
I added an antique patina to the copper and it really brings out the detail and texture.

The earrings are very simple with no stones, just the wires.

The ear wires are lead and nickel-free copper and are elongated for stability.
