I first fell in love with Moroccan Tiles as a teenager. A family friend was teaching me to bead, and something about the design just called to me. I went on to use this pattern to create various pieces, even going so far as turning one into a browband for one of my horses lol! When I took up beading again a few years ago I knew I'd be revisiting Moroccan Tiles pattern as well. I'm elated that family friend saved the exact magazine the pattern was published in!
