The Vegvísir altar tile is a hand-burned wooden piece featuring the Icelandic stave known as the “Viking compass,” a traditional Norse symbol of guidance and protection. Historically believed to help the bearer find their way through storm or darkness, the Vegvísir represents spiritual direction and safe passage for those walking unseen paths.

Each tile is individually crafted using pyrography on natural wood, sealed for durability, and finished to preserve the grain and warmth of the material. Suitable for display on an altar, in a ritual space, or as a symbolic centerpiece within your home.

Because every piece is hand-burned, slight variations in tone and grain make each one unique.
