This talisman was created with steady attention and a calm hand. The wooden pendant is stained in a dark walnut tone and hand-burned with the symbol for Water. The strand is built on leather cord using layers of blue, silver and white, with medium wood beads. The colors move like tide water, shifting from dark to light along the length of the piece.

At the base rests the octopus charm set against the tassel. The weight of it brings in that sense of depth, intuition, and the quiet pull of the unknown that Water is known for.

Each talisman is made to order. I take my time with these so the finished piece meets my standards and feels settled before it leaves my hands. Measurements may vary by a few inches, though every talisman is made long enough to slip comfortably over the head. These work well as ritual jewelry or as adornment for spiritual spaces where the element of Water is honored.
