This guide includes some tips and tricks for reducing the bulk, especially when you need to fold the ends around hardware.
Included are ideas for strap construction, as well as ideas for concealing raw strap ends. I use these methods to combat thick straps that are difficult to work with, and to avoid raw edges for vinyls/leathers that don’t have presentable undersides. Pattern pieces not included. This guide lists recommendations for dimensions, depending on the strap style you choose to make. You can take these measurements and adjust them for any bag you are making.
