Strider's Pipe Black Tea Blend

This smoky, bold, sweet black tea blend will have you imagining being huddled by a campfire in the wilds of Middle Earth, a stiff drink by your side and the smell of autumn on the way.

There's a whiskey- forward taste that shifts into a cinnamon apple and earl grah middle, ending up with a gentle chocolate after taste, all wreathed in smoke.

This blend is primarily black teas (ceylon, English breakfast tea, keemun, earl gray, and lapsang souchang), and is therefore strongly caffeinated.

It is a loose leaf tea, so be sure to have an infuser on hand. The more space the leaves have to mingle with the water, the better, so the gravity infusers are my preferred method.

2-4 teaspoons, depending on how strong you like your tea, in 8 oz. of near boiling water for about 4 minutes

Feel free to add sugar, honey, or cream, or enjoy it black.
