Understanding Product Types
Not sure which product type to select for your listing? Here's a breakdown of each product type and when to use them.
Digital Good (Movie or Download)
Choose this when you have a digital product that's already created and ready to be delivered to the customer. This could be a movie, a music album, a software download, or any other digital file.
Custom Video or Digital Good
Choose this when you're offering a custom video service. This could be a personalized video message, a video editing service, or any other video-related service.
You can also choose this for other types of custom digital goods, like a 3d design file. Just make sure to describe the service in the product description.
Physical Good (Requiring Shipping)
Choose this when you have a pre-designed physical product that you stock up or create on demand. This could be a t-shirt, a mug, a poster, or any other physical product that requires shipping.
Custom Physical Good
Choose this to take commissions for custom physical goods. This could be a custom painting, a handmade necklace, or any other custom physical product.
Service
Choose this when you're offering a service that doesn't involve creating a digital or physical product. This could be a consulting service, a coaching service, or any other service that doesn't involve delivering a product.
Generally, you should charge your service's deposit amount through the platform and then collect the remaining balance directly from the customer.
Subscription
Choose this when you're offering a digital text message subscription service. This could be a daily motivational message, a weekly recipe, or any other subscription service that delivers text messages.
Subscription Upgrade
Choose this when you're offering an upgrade to an existing subscription service. This could be a premium subscription tier, an add-on service, or any other upgrade to an existing subscription service.
