Managing Subscriptions and Subscribers

You've sold a subscription - now what?

Managing Subscriptions and Subscribers

Subscription Products on Mayhem Marketplace and Mayhem RED are intended for digital content; videos, photos, or text content.

You deliver content to your subscribers through the Blog tool. You can create a blog post with private content, and then announce the blog post to your paid subscribers.

When editing a blog post, set the "For Subscribers Only?" setting to the name of the subscription product you want to restrict the blog post to. Similarly, choose whether you want to allow subscribers to make comments on the post.

Then, upload the content, finish the blog post, and publish it. After you've proof-read it and ensured that the content uploaded correctly, you can announce the blog post to your subscribers. This will send an email to all of your subscribers, letting them know that you've published new content.

The "Announce to Subscribers" allows you to write a custom, email-only intro to the blog post. Only logged in subscribers will be able to see the content.

Managing Subscribers

No auto-rebill - Your subscribers will not be automatically rebilled. This is a technical limitation (for now). Instead, they will receive a notification when their subscription is about to expire.

You can manage your subscribers through the "Customers" tab in your seller dashboard. You can cancel a subscriber's subscription unilaterally.
