Setting up Basic Payments
Mayhem Marketplace allows you to accept payments for products via your own PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp account. When customers order a product or service from you, they're simply instructed to pay you via one of your payment methods. Once they pay you via PayPal/CashApp/Venmo, it's your responsibility to mark the order as paid in the Mayhem Marketplace dashboard.
Limitations
You are restricted by the terms of PayPal, Venmo, and/or CashApp. If they see you are using their service to sell products that violate their terms of service, they may freeze your account. They may hold your payments arbitrarily, or ban you from their service.
Because you are only linking your PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp account to Mayhem Marketplace, we have no control over your payments. We are not responsible for any issues that arise from using these services.
Orders in your Mayhem Marketplace dashboard will not be marked as paid automatically. You must manually mark them as paid once you receive payment from your customer. For automated payments and billing, upgrade to our Basic+CC plan to start accepting credit card payments.
Setting up Payment Methods
Simply put the link to your PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp account in your Mayhem Marketplace profile. Make sure the link works and is correct. When customers order a product or service from you, they will be instructed to pay you via one of these methods.
